MIRIAM IERVOLINO
Ánemos, nostalgia di un tempo mai vissuto
Curated by Giuseppe Maiorana
How do you rebuild an identity after the disappearance of your home?
How does the territory reflect the stories of those who inhabit it?
Nostalgia, time and space, the construction of identity are the central themes of the project. It is a journey in the Valle del Belìce, where the artist investigates the memory of Gibellina, marked by the 1968 earthquake. A story that goes beyond photographic documentation to question the sense of belonging, alternating historical research and direct immersion, exploring the relationship between nature and architecture through notes, stories and testimonies.
